Presentation of Slovenian spas and medical tourism in Kuwait City

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Cairo and the Slovenian Spas Association organised presentation of Slovenian spas and medical tourism, with the support of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, the Slovenian Tourist Board and Zavod Celeia Celje. The presentation was followed by B2B between representatives of Slovenian spas and representatives of Kuwaiti travel agencies and tour operators.

The event was inaugurated by Dr Marjan Cencen, director general for bilateral relations of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Participants were also addressed by Ambassador Dr Robert Kokalj, and Mr. Iztok Altbauer, president of the Slovenian Spas Association. This was followed by a presentation of Slovenian tourism potentials by Ms. Maja Pak, president of the Slovenian Tourist Board.

Representatives of the following major Slovenian spas were present at the event: Dobrna Spa, Medical Center Rogaska, Thermal Olimia, Rome Terme, Thermana Laško, Spa Zreče and Sava hotels and spas.

The event was attended by Sheikh Salman Al Homoud Al Sabah, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, representatives of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as more than 50 representatives of prominent Kuwaiti travel agencies and tour operators.
